Accomplishments
|
Our
first fundraiser was an auction held at the Adams County
Fairgrounds, winter 2007. We had donations galore -
everything from cars, campers, finished wood, buildings,
appliances, windows - you name it - we had it. The
grand total of the proceeds was over $11,000!

The
First Annual Snowmobile and Fun Run took place in New
Meadows on February 23, 2008. In addition to the Fun
Run were Barrel, Blindfold Barrel, and Drag Races.
All-Around
Buckles were awarded in the Junior, Amateur, Pro and Senior
Divisions. |

Another
first: A SASS Green Horn Shoot was held on April 5,
2008 at the Council Rod & Gun Club.
Heartland CIA co-sponsored this event along with
SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) and the Council
Rod and Gun Glub.
It
was a family-oriented event and a hardy
crowd enjoyed shooting demonstrations and many
tried
their
hand at Old
West-style shooting with pistols, lever action rifles
and shot guns.
SASS
is now holding monthly events at the Rod and Gun Club. |
